In 2006, Snow was given an AM – Member of the Order of Australia – for his service to the construction and building industry.

Personal Life
Snow is married to his wife Ginette and has four adult children – Stephen, Georgina, Tom and Scarlet. Stephen is currently the Managing Director of the Canberra Airport and Canberra Airport Group.
Terry is a renowned dog lover and is known to bring his pooches into meetings at his airport offices. He was a staunch supporter of marriage equality and is the Director of the organisation, Australians for Equality.
Additionally, he holds a commercial pilot licence for both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. He also owns a large equestrian property, located in New South Wales, close to Bawley Point – called Willinga Park. It narrowly avoided being burned to the ground in bushfires that swept through the area in late 2019 early 2020.
